Beyond Formalities Exhibit (U.P. Vargas Museum)

The remains of R.R.D. (parts of the work were stolen during the course of its exhibition) was reused to create this four-piece work. There is a vitrine containing actual parts of R.R.D. together with studies and photographs of its production, installation, exhibition, and destruction. Some of the remains were wrapped with various materials and images that were in a way connected to the images underneath to create a relief panting as a way of mummifying the objects.
