This is the first of a series of works that centers on the character of Ferdie Pascual, a blind masseur. I asked him to create a relief portrait of himself out of clay while I was interviewing him. A cement negative cast was made from this relief portrait and a recording of the interview (playing inside a framed portrait of Mr. Pascual) was used in the actual exhibition.
